No sadness here… a song

TEARDROPS

There’s a crying in the distance

As a tear falls to the wind

There’s a heart that’s lost its reason

To ever love again

But in the still cool waters

There are gentle little rings

That reach out for the one whose tears

Are causing it to sing

And teardrops start the flowing

They bubble up in springs

Every river running… carries teardrops on its wings

Into the ocean currents

Into the clouds that bring

Teardrops from the Heavens

Washing you…….And washing me…..

Hearts they break for many reasons

Some are broken hard

When a heart so breaks to pieces

Words are just a start

You reach out to hold a friend

As they take their last breath

Tears they stream down from your eyes

There are so many left

And teardrops start the flowing

They bubble up in springs

Every river running… carries teardrops on its wings

Into the ocean currents

Into the clouds that bring

Teardrops from the Heavens

Cleansing you…….And cleansing me…..

Don’t fret upon spring showers

Blessed, the drops come down

Replenishing your heart of hearts

Inside where love is found

An infinite supply of tears

Sent from round the world

One teardrop is just the start

For every boy and girl

And teardrops start the flowing

They bubble up in springs

Every river running… carries teardrops on its wings

Into the ocean currents

Into the clouds that bring

Teardrops from the Heavens

Cleansing you…….And cleansing me…..

Teardrops from the Heavens

Cleansing you…….And cleansing me…..

Teardrops from the Heavens

Cleansing you…….And cleansing me…..
