I FOUND GRACE TODAY

I found grace today.

It was there in the precious eyes of my newborn child.

I found grace today.

When she looked at me, and man, I swear she smiled.

I found grace today.

When that daughter held her baby brother for the very first time.

I found grace today.

When their mother looked at me with so much pride.

I found grace today.

When the preacher asked, “who giveth this woman to be married to this man?”

I found grace today.

When I held the tiny fingers of my grandchild’s tiny hand.

I found grace today.

In the solemn tears that flowed from my wife’s eyes.

I found grace today.

Knowing I had lived a graceful, God-filled life.

I found grace today!
