GUARDIAN

Lay thee gently upon thy final rest,

For this journey found its end.

Angels come to lift you high,

Fulfilled the promise made, ascend.

No more pain or preoccupation,

Of what may lay ahead.

Greater fondness, no father has,

Than whose blood for you was shed.

Join now in the wonderment,

To keep a watchful eye,

Upon the ones we love the most,

Their guardian in the sky.

Vanquished are the earthy throes,

That profited from your suffering.

Eternal life of love and hope,

From what you reaped will bring.

Hallowed is the Father.

Hallowed is the Son.

Hallowed is the Holy Ghost,

Welcome home! It’s done!
