Crackers… a very silly poem

Cracker

CRACKERS

I found some cracks in my crackers.

Please, tell me what it means.

Is it the sign of things to come?

Is it the nightmare of my dreams?

Who would have perpetrated such a hateful deed?

Cracking up my crackers…

That’s just mean!

That’s obscene!

Were I to do the same to you,

What reaction would I get?

Would you storm into my office?

Would you want to crack my head?

Over some stupid crackers,

You had stored in Tupperware.

Maybe you just packed too much,

And burped out too much air.

Oh wait, I can see now

The irony in this.

My crackers will still taste the same.

And for this – I am remiss.
