Smile… a poem

SMILE

Never underestimate the power of a smile.

A simple wave,

Or maybe just the acknowledgment of “hi!”

A treasure within all of us to gladly share each day.

You may not know the reason,

But it can go a long, long way.

What’s going on behind the eyes that look but do not see?

It happens all the time.

Sometimes with you – sometimes with me.

Who knows of the day they had or what’s broken inside?

So, go and be the catalyst,

It’s as easy as a smile!
