Dark-eyed Junco… a silly poem of a bird

The Dark-eyed Junco can be found across North America.

DARK-EYED JUNCO

It’s just a little gray

Around the face and neck.

Upon the beak

You’ll find it pink

Perfect for a peck.

Delightful is this little guy

Who sits there in the cold.

He won’t give up

Until his sup.

He is – Dark-eyed Junco.
