Hope, Joy & Love… a poem

When we reach the edge of what can be

What are our deepest hopes?

To live a life of luxury?

While others suffer

And barely cope?

How do we really judge ourselves?

Is it by works or possessions or deeds?

Where are the hands

That suffer most?

Truly, those are the needs.

For most, our hearts want what’s right

In the eyes of our Father above.

For it is He who has provided to all

In the gifts

Of hope, joy and love!
