Hardened and cold
Can I ever be free
Will this season of life
Be the death of me
—————-
Cloistered and lonely
Deep in my heart
Shall I make revival
A brand-new start
—————
Kin drift away
On the tide of the moon
Dawn brings the heat
Of midday – noon
——————
I feel a change
A drain of my being
Melt into nothing
Spring, she is keening
—————–
Until I am nothing
But a small spec of ice
Winter was fine
But swimming is nice
