Valhalla awaits the brave of heart
A sacrifice for more than he
Amour-cladding could not prevent
The piercing sword to eternity
Now his body lays upon the pyre
But his soul has long since gone
Into the promised Eden land
The warrior’s final home

I am teary eyed suddenly. I remembered the movie Braveheart.

Awe! My uncle who passed away a few years ago was named Robert Bruce Wallace… Seriously! I’m glad you enjoyed it!

Why, thank you very much! I bet you caught the “Amour”-cladding play on words over “Armor”… :-)))

On to the Halls of Valhalla. I love the thought of such a place, where warriors go to share eternity.
