I offer this bouquet
That I just picked for you
A sunset shade of yellow
Against a sky of blue
An offering of peace
And apology from me
I strayed away from kindness
My eyes, they could not see
But now my mind is clear
Remorse has taken place
Please accept this gift from me
And put away the mace
So sweet… so why do I have the feeling you will need a bigger bouquet?

Heeheehee… The funny thing is that I had no intention of this poem going this direction, but my muse had other ideas…

I can see this in the “I’m sorry” hallmark card selection. 👍

Thanks! Is there a tongue-in-cheek section? Asking for a friend… Ha

Thanks Winnie! It was so serious until my muse had other thoughts…. What do you do?

You’re welcome, Kevin! The bouquet and your sincerity will do, I think.

My muse has a sense of humor that even caught me off guard with that one, but after laughing, I published…
