GOOD MORNING… a poem

Morgenrot, Sunrise, Trees, Glow, Clouds

Silhouetted against a backdrop of amber

The burnt-orange sky bursts into life

Morning breaks in a moment that takes your breath away

  1. I used to tell my children that a beautiful sunrise is God’s saying, “Good morning! I love you!” Some days He whispers it in my ear. Some days He speaks it and gives me a hug. Every once in a while there’s a sunrise so spectacular that I feel as if He’s picking me up and swinging me around. πŸ˜‰ ❀
