ASHES… a poem

This wind that carries my heart
Can be found by the white, sandy shore
Wistfully swaying to and fro
Attempting to live in the world once more

You see, she has died
And I’m now left alone
To twist in the breeze
Nowhere to call home

For each there is someone
She was that for me
But with her ashes I’m cast
With her into the sea

person sitting on cliff near ocean
