Nobody sings
The dirges of ants
They tunnel and drill
And dance in your pants

Hilltops, their home
High above grass
As the lawnmower strikes
They’ll come after you’re a$$

Oh, you won’t hear them coming
For stealthy they be
But friend, take this warning
Their welts are for free
Fire ants? There’s nothing silly about fire ants.

Nothing at all! Did you know that the Fire Ant was introduced, by accident, into the US at the Port of Mobile? They arrived on banana boats and slowly made their way out. I don’t miss getting bit by those little boogers!

Some of the most excruciating pain I’ve ever experienced. I don’t regret beating feet out of Florida and never looking back.

Yeah, I grew up with them. They originated in Mobile, Alabama which was across the bay from where I was born and raised. Cray cray… ;-)))

This is great I was Working in Tuscaloosa 1984 when I hit the mound. I had never seen anything like them growing up in Ohio
