If I had only let go
When the anger began
There’d have been no turmoil
But pride ruled this man
Overcoming adversity
Was always taught to me
Yet, I let my guard down
And the darkness broke free
Now I sit in this cell
Awaiting the judge
I said I was sorry
I should have eaten the fudge
Haha nice poem.

Hmm, I wonder what dreadful act the speaker of your poem committed that eating fudge would have prevented . . . Inquiring minds want to know.

Good question! I think we can probably all put ourselves into this category at one time or another… As sad as it is to say… ;-)))
